Sneak Peek: The Kitchen

My sister is amazing! Seriously...ahh.may.zing.

Here's the deal....it's just a sneak peek because she's been in major remodeling mode and hoarding her pictures. The rest of the pictures are coming later this week, month, summer, nope...wait...better go with...year. Yep, that's it. Later this year....if they come along before that then fabulous. But, we are full time moms with real life responsibilities and don't always have time to allot for extra-fun-hours-writing-perfect-blog-post time. Yep. There I said it. We are real life moms with real life families, messy kitchens, laundry to-do, etc. So, if you ever wonder why we haven't gotten a post up in awhile...just remember that we are keeping it real. This is what real life looks like...at least for us. Occasional blog posts with glimpse into real life families.

But, this kitchen make-over is just to fantastic to wait on... Why? Because it's a reminder of what a few cans of paint can do to a room. Just paint. (Well, okay, new drawer knobs, faucet, and light fixture...but mostly just paint.) 

Not super fancy new cabinetry, or tile work, or countertops...just paint.

Remember the kitchen before from my very-first-post ever...the one where I surprised my sister with our blog? Here's the pic from before they purchased the house. Yuck. Needs work. Just a giant bit outdated...

Isn't it great?! She is so inspiring...I love it! So, we have a beautifully updated kitchen for the cost of some new paint, new light fixture, new faucet, and an indoor/outdoor rug!

I'm so inspired....now, I just need to figure out what to paint!
